Ideal for Remodels or New Construction
Our boards are only ¾” thick, making them ideal for radiant floor remodels, or retrofits where floor heights can be a limiting factor — particularly at doors and stairs.
Ecowarm RADIANTBOARD Hits the Performance and Cost Sweetspot
Aluminum is a very valuable component of our design as it is 1500 times more conductive than wood. Using too thin aluminum without closer tubing spacing results in an under-performing system, but too thick of an aluminum layer increases cost without commensurate value. The panels are constructed with an aluminum layer on top that is pressed into an overbite, self-locking channel. Our patented design makes Ecowarm RADIANTBOARD ideal for raised floor applications. For applications over concrete look to our new product InsulHeat.
Most modern houses have heat losses between 13-20 BTU.SQ FT/Hour and operate much of the year below their maximum heat loss. The thickness of the aluminum on our panels is chosen to be very effective in this range, requiring low water temperatures and is capable of generously exceeding up to 42 BTU SQ FT/Hour with modest elevations of water temperatures.
This means you will have a high-performing system with much lower utility costs.
